We made the trip in our new-to-us Mini Cooper SE. We've only had it for a few days, but it's a great little car so far. The trip computer estimated that a full charge could take us there and back, but I stopped at a fast charger at the nearby outlet mall anyway to see what the process is like. It took about fifteen minutes to deliver 12 kWh and bring the battery from 50% to 86% for 8 USD. I have to check the math, but I think that works out to roughly the same cost per mile as a regular gas pump. We had enough time to go get a pretzel while we waited. There was only one available station when we pulled up and none when we came back, so maybe we got lucky. It was a good thing because the battery was at 31% when we got home, which implies that we might not have made it back otherwise. #EV #ElectricVehicles #MiniCooper
