Why do some wines make me feel like shit after less than half a bottle? It's not the sulfites, because I've had wines with sulfites before that do not give me a headache. #wine

@crimedad 14.5% alcohol strikes me as high for a Bordeaux. And, given tax laws, it might be higher, but that’s the number they stamped on it. So, high alcohol?

@MrBirch@beige.party I never really paid attention to the alcohol content of wine, but I will now. Maybe I'll find a pattern. Looking it up now, my wife and I shared a 13.8% ABV domestic pino noir a couple of weeks ago and we felt fine. (We both got headaches before finishing the one from last night.)
